Director of Cardiac Rehabilitation

Murray Low, EdD, FAACVPR, FACSM

Dr. Low received his Doctorate in Applied Physiology at Columbia University and is a Professor Emeritus at York College/City University of New York. Dr. Low was the first President of the New York State Association for Cardiac & Pulmonary Rehabilitation.

Over many years he has provided hundreds of educational presentations to the lay public and health care professionals at the local, state & national level. More recently, he was honored by the New York State Association for Cardiac & Pulmonary Rehabilitation with its first "Visionary Award" and was recognized for his "Excellence in Education". He is a Fellow of the American Association of Cardiovascular & Pulmonary Rehabilitation and the American College of Sports Medicine. He was also elected as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Westchester County Chapter of the American Heart Association on multiple occasions and currently serves as the President of the American Association of Cardiovascular & Pulmonary Rehabilitation (2008-2009).
