Heart Disease and Treatment at Stamford Hospital

Heart disease is the leading killer of adults in this country … but someday it won't be. Enormous strides have been made in the prevention and treatment of heart disease, enabling many people to live long and full lives despite having the condition and, even better, helping many more stay healthy by avoiding heart disease altogether.

In partnership with New York Presbyterian Healthcare System/Columbia University Medical Center, Stamford Hospital's Heart & Vascular Institute offers the full continuum of heart and vascular services for area residents from screening, preventive and diagnostic services, to invasive treatments and rehabilitation. In 2008 we introduced our Open Heart Surgery Program, Elective Angioplasty and Stenting and Integrative Cardiology for lower Fairfield County.
